One strand of fiber carries 8K /60p 1,968 ft. (600 meters). Control, audio and IR ride the same fiber, so there's no second cable to pull.

Two slim flat dark-gray HDMI extender modules, each with an HDMI socket at one end and vent slots along the top. The transmitter is marked SOURCE and DVI-7318-TX and carries a PASS and LEARN slide switch beside EDID, LINK and PWR indicator LEDs, an optical OUT port and a +5 VDC input. The receiver is marked DISPLAY and DVI-7318-RX with LINK and PWR LEDs, an optical IN port and its own +5 VDC input.

DVIGear Releases DisplayNet 4.7 Update

DVIGear has released DisplayNet 4.7, a free update for all customers that adds an MCP server for AI agents, a new REST API, and expanded lock and device-state access for faster troubleshooting.
